Where to Direct Your Gift
Our general giving fund, the Covenant Harbor Fund provides the most flexible use of your gift. It directs your gift to where it’s most needed, including camp experiences, capital improvements and ministry operations. It provides the root system for all the branches of ministry and behind-the-scenes functions it sustains.
Ensuring that camp and retreat experiences are accessible to all campers and guests is one of our highest priorities. We never want financial resources to be a reason a camper can’t attend a Covenant Harbor program. Scholarship support provides financial aid to campers who need help in making the camp experience a reality.
The Summer Staff Wage Grant provides additional financial support to summer staff who would otherwise not be able to afford working at Covenant Harbor.
The new Dining Commons is focused on creating community, as it not only provides ample dining space for guests, but also includes a Welcome Center, enlarged camp store and snack shop, and a kitchen designed to meet existing and future needs.
Your gift to the endowment lives on for future generations. We draw only on the interest the fund generates, allowing the principal to grow over time to meet current needs. Estate gifts and memorial gifts are often directed toward the endowment.

Tribute gifts that express your gratitude, respect or admiration in memory or in honor of a friend or loved one can be directed to the fund of your choosing. All tribute gifts are noted in the annual Harbor Point Ministries newsletter, unless you indicate that your gift is anonymous.

Covenant Harbor welcomes gifts made through donor advised funds. These funds are established through your financial services organization and can be directed to the Covenant Harbor fund of your choice.
Through an IRA gift, you opt to give a portion or all of your assets that are held in individual retirement accounts, 401(k) or 403(b) plans. Planned giving supports your current philanthropic goals and allows you to leave a legacy. The complexity of these gifts requires help from professional advisors.
